"YOUR PHOTO Water Polo Ball Regulation Size. Great for game balls gifts coaches players fans awards contests graduations seniors leagues high school college varsity holidays parents trophies clubs. Print pictures individuals teams logos."

Seems great as advertised but in real life it doesn't live to the hype.3

I ordered 2 water polo balls from this company on November 1 2006 hoping to get my order before November 17 2006 in order to present the balls to my two water polo coachs. Apparently though Amazon says the balls are in stock when I ordered my balls the guys from the company said they had to order them still. This disappointed me a bit because the balls were supposed to come by the 13th (as per Amazon's e-mail) and they were already late. Anyway my mood lightened because the guys at the company said that once the balls arrived they would send the balls via 2nd day delivery. However in the end the balls came 3 days late on the 20th making me miss my deadline...=(

With regards to the ball though the description says the balls are regulation size it is not specified to which regulation. As a water polo player myself I would estimate the size of the ball to be that of a woman's water polo ball. Also the ball is not made of the same rubberized material as a normal water polo ball and is in fact very smooth. To me anyway the ball seems to be just like a yellow volleyball because it isn't hard like a normal water polo ball either. Let's just say I was disappointed when I got the product. The fact that they misspelled my school's name wrong (it's Jesse Bethel not Jesse Bethell) didn't make me any happier.

I also ordered a third ball on November 7th and it too came late but it was bundled with the other two balls I ordered. I also specified that two balls were to be of one image and the third ball was to be another image. However all the balls came out to be one image. I would have complained but I guess the image they chose was the best one anyway (one image I sent was the serious picture and the other was the funny picture)

But with all that said and done I guess the water polo balls are still a really cool coach's gift. Just make sure you do the following:

1) Make sure the balls are in stock by messaging the company.

2) Order way in advance maybe a month or two.

3) Have them send a picture of the finished product so you know your balls are as you ordered them.

So yeah the balls are ok but it just didn't meet my expectations. 3 out of 5.More detail ...
